What skidplate bolt issues did you have? I need to get on my dealer as they screwed up one of mine.

When I bought the truck as a demo from a Chevrolet dealer they changed the oil and broke a nut underneath unbeknownst to me. I the. Took it to a Toyota dealer for the next scheduled maintenance and no oil change and they pointed fingers at one another and the chevy general manager called me a liar and we exchanged words over the phone.

Other bolts were cross threaded so I tapped those out and I have tacked on another nut to the skidplate bracket.

The Techs at that Chevy Dealer sound like they are not real bright a, broken nut and crossthreaded bolts from an oil change, wow.

They offered to "fix" the bracket after some heated discussions but once I was called a liar and the way the messed up something so simple, no way they were touching my truck again.

Good mechanics are seriously hard to find now.

Father in law once told me he always does his own work so he knows exactly which asshole messed up and only has to deal with one person.
