    How often should an alternator be changed out? Wait for signs of an issue or just be proactive and switch it out. I have 115k on a 2011, 2.7 with a/c should I replace it. Got a price from the stealership, $670, just for the part :eek:. I will be changing out my own, the above video is appreciated.

    My 1st gen had 198,000 on it when I traded it and still had the original alternator. I would wait for an issue.
