I went in the last week of Nov to order a cement 2018 Off Road Access Cab 4x4. Had to special order and the sailsman(Tommy Chau) said it would cost invoice plus ttl. I was thinking it was around $2300 off msrp($37,054 by my packages) by what I had been seen posted and looking at a couple of websites.

A week later I received a message and he informed me that it would be coming in around Dec 21. The price he gave was$35,905.32. I informed him what people were posting on here and he said they were 2017 models. I sent screen shots of some showing they were 2018. His next move was that they were not Gulf State. So I contacted Autonation that someone suggested. They(Autonation) said they would be that price by $500. I let Freeman know about that price and he said that he couldn't go any lower and he said his is the only 1 coming in Dec with exactly what I want.

The following week his boss(Jerry Patterson) calls me and says he heard we was having problems with the price and if I didn't want it to let them know because they had someone willing to pay over msrp. I let them know they can't until I had the chance to look over it and decline it, since it was my special order truck.

Next I decided to send a email and see if they would do any better. I received a offer higher than my first one $36,405 from Sam Scarlett. I then returned a message saying I had a quote from another dealer for $35,405 (the same quote from Autonation). He replied and said he would match that offer.

So now I call back and ask to speak to the head man BJ Stankovich. I ask if he could go lower than $35,905 and he said that was the best available. I then metioned the off that Sam gave me and he said he didn't know what I was talking about. Never heard anything back from them.

Dec 26 I received a call from Tommy saying the truck is in and wanted to know when I could come look at it. I told them I could be in Sat the 30th. So now I decided to look on their websire and see the truck in inventory. I click on it and it says to enter my info and email and receive their best offer. I received my offer back from Muhammad Ahmed and guess what their end of the year price was?????????????? $34,754 with no haggling. So now I set up a appointment for Friday the 29th to come in and talk to him.

They don't know I am the same person. They were not supposed to have the truck for sale until I had a chance to look at it on Sat. So they will be surprised when I mention that they beat their own price.

To be continued after I visit in person Friday.

    stock (for now)
    ^^^ what he said SubD

EDIT ( I read it lol) : I wouldn't be surprised if the dealer told you they cant sell that truck to you because its on hold or its already sold to someone else. Its a marketing strategy to bring customers in to look at the rest of the inventory. But regardless hope it works out for you.

I hope you get it for that price but I would bet they won’t sell it to you for the 34K or the 35K price. 99% of Dealers are dodgy as f*ck

Did you put a deposit on it? If you did, then yes, you have first right to it. If you didn´t, then it doesn´t matter if you ¨ordered¨ it, you have no money against it to hold it, so its up for grabs.
I hope you get the deal you want.

I wouldn’t even go look at it. I’d take my business else where after all this run around.

Al dealers play games, but you can certainly find a more straightforward one.

I’m still ROLF @ BJ STANKOVITCH.

For real tho, between all that work, and then posting about it,you spent more than you’re trying to save.

And good ol BJ Is the GSM, so if he already told no, you aren’t getting a better deal.

Give your business to who wants to earn it. Frankly when you buy it from them none of us want to hear the resulting posts about how other parts of that dealership suck. Frankly you’re doing too much work trying to catch a bunch of assholes doing asshole shit

This. Over a couple hundred bucks, not even worth the time, effort and stress.

No ...muhammed told somebody you were pretending to be.
Muhammad isn’t a manager, who the deals have to go thru.
He’s just a guy trying to get people in the door to make the end of the month and the end of his year using vehicles that are on order hold as bait.
Sorry that truck is spoken for, but I can get you in one like it for that price(different model code, different options)
Again if the GSM already told you no dice you’re not getting anywhere.
Especially on an order that you’ve been waiting for and are invested in. You’re not walking away and they know it
