Dealers that sell at MSRP

Plus Toyota of Santa Fe told me that I had to run Credit just to place a deposit on an allocation....I was like, uh...no

 

That's as hard of a no for me as a non-refundable deposit...

Right now it's a thing of the past. You might get below MSRP with a trade-in, but they'll just make it up with a crappy offer on the trade-in.

 

They ran my credit after telling me a used SR that came in was a V6. I get all the way down there and find out it was a 4 banger. Then still tried to sell it to me. I was and still borderline am completely speechless

 

Can we get this fixed please? Virginia and West Virginia are 2 different states.

I called all around Kansas to try and locate dealers selling Tacomas at MSRP. This is what I gathered:

Conklin Toyota in Salina, KS sells at MSRP. They just asked me what I wanted and supposedly put an “order” in for me with no deposit. Basically they told me, “we’ll see what we get and will call you if it is close to what you want.”

Legends Toyota in Kansas City, KS sells at MSRP and were upfront that they would not charge for any dealer add-ons. But they also were not taking deposits or orders right now. Sales manager told me they get what they get and its first come first serve.

Molle Toyota in Kansas City, MO (right on MO and KS state line) has “Never pay a penny over MSRP” on their ads. Contacted them and was told a salesman would be in touch. Three days later… nothing. So they must not be too motivated at the moment.

Olathe Toyota in Olathe, KS sells at MSRP and will take a $500 refundable deposit. But the lady I spoke with said they only sell locally. She didn’t specify what that meant but I’d guess that means they won’t sell to you if you are outside the greater KC metro area. I live a couple hours outside KC and she said she’d have to check with her manager. Been 24 hours and no word back.

Crown Toyota in Lawrence, KS sells at MSRP. $1,000 nonrefundable deposit to place an order for exactly what you want and then you are on the list for allocations. If you speak for a vehicle when they give you the option to purchase they said they will not sell it out from under you.

Eddy’s Toyota in Wichita, KS wanted a $5K market adjusmtent. Pass.

Didn’t even bother talking to Lewis Toyota. They have several locations throughout Kansas and their pricing online is $3K over MSRP on any Tacomas where the window sticker would actually pull up. Pass.

 

Illinois: Bredemann Toyota - Park Ridge, IL

 

I bought my TRD Offroad from Toyota Carlsbad in Carlsbad, CA. I had to order it and it was 12 months ago so unclear if they still honor this.

Note it did arrive with 3-4 items I didn't order, like blackout package for $450, but by that time I just said hell with it and I really like the blackout package anyway.

 

Not sure if anyone has mentioned Statler Toyota in Hill Valley, CA. My salesman Biff Tanner gave me a smokin deal on my Toyota.

 

I bought my 2018 and 2022 TRD OR DCLB from Dave Wilson at Crown Toyota in Lawrence, even though the Manhattan, Salina, and Topeka dealers are closer. Crown also will sell to out of state customers.

 

So all of them will sell MSRP? Can you write it in a way I can just copy paste instead of having to look up the name city state myself?

The spreadsheet contains a list of dealers claiming if they are selling the GR Corolla for MSRP or markup.

I would venture to say if they would sell the GR Corolla for MSRP, they would sell the Tacoma for MSRP.
