Second nod to Toyota of Dallas.

Took it in this morning for the "check," and the picked it up this afternoon with the TSB done.

Thanks to everyone that has posted their experiences. You really helped me know what to expect and how to prepare.

By the way, I could feel a big difference. My truck isn't riding as hard as a chuck wagon or anything, but the handling and tracking seem much better.

I look forward to loading the bed down again and seeing how much of a difference it makes then.

I just spoke with Kevin at Koons Toyota of Annapolis (MD). He said if I bring it in, they will do it after documenting my complaint -in person. I asked if they would install my adjustable 5100s in the front and he said he did not see why that would be a problem.

I'm getting the TSB done at Mountain States in Denver. They called me this afternoon and realized they order the original parts instead of the new ones. They asked if it was ok for me to keep the car over night and give me a loaner car while they finish the TSB. I'm happy with how they treated the situation.

Big-Two Toyota-Scion of Chandler did mine. Made an appointment in advance with Brian, took it in and they had it done by the end of the day. Installed the new 4-packs and alignment no issues. (no new struts, TRD OR package).

Ok I need a quick bit of info here..

I got an appointment with Toyota tomorrow for an oil change and tire rotation. Called and inquired about the TSB and they said they will check it out tomorrow when I go in.

Anyway I have an 2008 TRD DC 4x4. What exactly are they going to replace? I assume the leaf pack but what about shocks? I already have yellow bilsteins back there

Only the leaf pack and an alignment. Print out and take the TSB with you. Make sure they order the correct parts.
