Dealers who performed the Suspension TSB

I mentioned the rear of the truck was sagging when i was moving some furniture, and showed him a copy of the TSB. They ordered and installed everything. And performed the alignment.

 

Burnsville Toyota, Burnsville MN. Emailed them, they emailed me back and said parts were in. Done deal.

 

Fort Bend Toyota , Sugar Land TX, I told the service advisor, that I had a harsh ride and bottoming out while towing. They replaced springs and shocks on the rear and struts on the front. No hassles at all.

 

Out of curiosity did you have more than 36K on yours?

Took my 2009 TRD Dual Cab in after calling Toyota and getting a case # when my bike in the back just about devestated the rear suspension. Was advised by Toyota 2009's are being addressed on a case by case basis. Provided the TSB # to my dealer service department, along with my case number. Was contacted the following morning by Service who stated they had contacted the Toyo Technical Regional guy or something who had approved the swap without a problem. Getting it back this afternoon or tommorow....dealership was great!

 

I have been denied the tsb but after they saw I had a lift kit, Removed kit will be going back. They did confirned my truck to have the rear suspension bottom out.I should get it installed this week.Will keep you posted on this dealership after its done.Mentioned harsh ride under heavy load which I myself confirmed on a camping trip.

When I went in to make the appointment, I handed the service rep a copy of the first page of the TSB. She took it to the service manager's office. I'm not sure what happened in there, but she came back in a few minutes, said "no problem", and we set up an appointment for about a week later.

On the day of the appointment, I left the truck in the morning before they opened, and got a call in the early afternoon saying that it was ready. In the paperwork I got when I picked it up, there was a note from the mechanic (I assume) saying that after the work had been done, the truck was test-driven, and it now "rides like a truck". I can't say that I actually notice much difference.

Just dropped off my 08 4X4 TRD at Cardinale motors in South Lake Tahoe to have the rear TSB done. Should be done in afew hours. All went well. The service dept. was great, no real questions asked, just showed them the tsb and told them I was having the described it. They checked it out, ordered the parts, and did it up. The rear is now about 1 1/2 in. higher, so will need to lift the front with bilsteins. The ride is much better, stiffer. Stoked!

 

I just had the tsb done at toyota santa cruz. But had to remove lift kit but will be reinstalling (asap). Headlights are pointing downward but lift kit will improve that. It is too high in the back. I will love it after the kit is reinstalled.

 

Mike Erdman Toyota Merritt Island FL, denied because its a 2009 and then the service director tried to pawn of an aftermarket airbag setup on me. WHY do I want to pay for their problem?

Just wait a few weeks and then the tsb should be updated to include the 09's. Or try another dealer. Alot of others have had it done on their 09's with no questions asked.

 

Superior Toyota in Erie, PA did it no questions asked.

 

i went to the toyota dealership i bought mine from they said there was only a three lear pack for the rear but iv been told there is a 4 is dealership bsing me

 

Ira Toyota in milford ma, took a while.. they said nothing was wrong til i hopped on the back of another '08 tacoma and the suspension didn't sag then hopped on mine and it dropped 2 inches, let alone i'm only 130lbs

 

i just checked my truck, and i also have just the 3 leaf springs.
however, mine is a 2010 but i have no sticker on the door jam. do you think i would be able to get this done? thanks

 

2009 DC 4x4. Got the 4 leaf pack and 4 new Bilstiens. Boch Toyota South in Massachusetts. Best dealer experience I ever had. Made a big difference in ride IMO.
