    Bill Alexander Toyota

Alexander Toyota had the parts in stock the next day after appointment was made over the phone to have the TSB performed. Service was performed first thing in the morning and took about 2-1/2 hours, including install and alignment. They even washed my truck when it was all said and done. Looked like a new truck driving out of their lot.

    Just the basics
I want to put it out there for anyone needing the TSB in SoCal, Melissa in the service department at Huntington Beach Toyota made my suspension TSB pain free and very fast. Truck does ride more firm and is higher. Hoping to level it out with some Camburg C/Os up front and a Flippac on the rear. Should be perfect.

Had to do a little talking (but I'm good at being a pain in the ass), show pics of sagging bed w/load and had TSB in hand...they "inspected" it, then ordered parts and did work, and alignment. Toyota's bill =$1389 :)

City Toyota in Great Falls, Montana will be doing the TSB for me early next week.

Not too difficult to talk him into it. Went in Tuesday for the 6 month maintenance and talked to the guy. He "couldn't find it for 2010's" at first, but my wife was looking at his computer screen and said, "oh there it is, 2009 and 2010". Sure enough, he said he would order the parts and call me to make an appointment once the parts come in.

I'll post measurements, pics and the rest of my experience after it is complete. Thanks again TW!!

Beaverton Toyota did mine with a little bit of hassle. They played dumb about the TSB but when I gave them the TSB Number and insisted they fixed it. I dropped the truck off at 9 and picked it up at 2:45.

    Beaverton Oregon.

Hiland Toyota, Moline Il. Told them about the harsh ride. They found TSB, ordered and replaced. No hassles. Good service dept. Just don't ever, ever, ever try to buy a vehicle from them. Every bad sales trick in the book.

Larry H Miller Toyota of Colorado Springs (in Motor City) did my leaf spring TSB on my 2010 TRD Access Cab today.

I had previously asked a service rep there (short bald guy who never looks happy to be there) what I needed to do to get it done, and he was pretty rude about it. He said something like "just because there's a TSB doesn't mean we have to perform it. You have to demonstrate the problem and we have to duplicate it before we will consider doing the job, but it's at our discretion, not yours." BAH!

So I was all ready to call Toyota corporate at the 800 number and go around the dealership. But on a whim, when I brought my truck in for an oil change last week, I ran into Dan Moran, the Service Manager and asked him the same thing - what do I need to do to get it done, and to my surprise, he said, "Nothing. We've done quite a few of them." He scheduled an appointment, and ordered the parts. Boom ... job done.

Thanks Dan Moran and Toyota of Colorado Springs! The ride is awesome.

I went through Toyota customer service first, and they contacted my local dealer (Dunning, Ann Arbor Michigan), who just called yesterday saying they will order the springs for me. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Probably the worse Toyota Dealership in the State of Florida...maybe one of the worse in the country.

    My experience: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...ory-semi-rant-pour-cup-coffee-crack-beer.html

Hopefully, the dealer where I bought my Tacoma, Panama City Toyota...will treat me better.

Not problem getting the Suspension or Transmission TSB. So far looks like they did it correctly. Will go here again when I have to - don't like going to the dealer for anything.

Yesterday I phoned Toyota of Kirkland about performing the rear spring and auto tansmission TSB's. At first they were quite agreeable, said they would order the parts, and an appointment was made for next week. Things were looking up; even a loner car was to be included.

However, a couple of hours later T of K's service department phoned back saying I'd have to first bring my truck in for an inspection before they'd order the parts. Hmmmmm.

Because T of K is 20 miles from my home, and now at least two appointments with them would be required, needless to say I canceled. Do you suppose the Toyota Corporation is making it more difficult for the dealerships to perform these upgrades? Time to try another Toyo dealership. Thankfully there are quite a few to choose from in the Seattle area.

Champion Toyota (Gulf Freeway) Houston TX - I had to argue with the service manager a little bit, he first said that the TSB didnt include TRD models (TSB clearly does) but after I pointed that out they did it.

Bill Penney in Huntsville AL checked my truck empty while I had it there for an oil change. The didn't know it applied to 2010's, so I pulled out my copy of the TSB and showed them. No problems, No hassles Services was performed 4 days ago.
