Just took my '10 Prerunner to Florence Toyota in Florence, SC and handed them a copy of TSB. They inspected the truck for about 30 mins, came back and said they had everything on order and they also said they were gonna do the pedal recall at the same time. They said parts coming in next week so we will see what happens.

Took mine to Roseville Toyota with a copy of every TSB. Clutch, tailgate, leafs, alignment, and even my wiper motor (loud whirring) replaced!
    Great service.

The truck really rides a lot better with the new leafs. Much more trucky and less dodgy over bumps.

UPDATE!! Florence Toyota got the parts in already, just one day after the inspection! They called me at 9:30 this morning and I took in in immediately and had them drive me back to my job. When I got off this afternoon they called me and said they had it ready and came to pick me up! Excellent customer service! The truck looks and feels way better now, there is a definite height increase in the rear and it feels much more solid. They replaced all 4 shocks and put in the 4 leaf packs. Very pleased with the outcome

Went in on a Friday for an appointment and described the issue and was immediately helped out and the service advisor went right into the system looking for TSBs. At first, he said "Oh, there isn't one for 2010 MY... opps, nevermind, I am a liar, here it is.." :)

Ordered the parts, they got here today and low and behold my truck is currently there for the service. I miss my Taco already (they gave me a crappy Nissan Altima to drive lol)

p.s. - I Denied the Pedal Recal... eff that.

Update: My advisor just called me and Parts Department only ordered 1 Spring, WTF.. my truck is now there overnight and I work til 7PM the next day.. not pleased.

Just want to add that although Florence Toyota overall did a good job on my TSB, they DID put the bolts in backwards on my driver side rear leaf hanger, causing it to rub against some metal. I'm going to go get it fixed tomorrow.

Just had my '08 access cab done with Toyota of Temecula Valley here in SoCal. I called the 1 800 number first and had no problems, even gave me a loaner and I didn't even ask for it! I didn't have to prove it, they just ordered parts and did it.

Just got my truck back from Bob Bridge Toyota in Renton, WA. Took it in Monday, they ordered parts, and did the TSB with no problems. They did want me to say "Harsh Ride" in order to get it done, though.

Just had TSB done at Westchester Toyota (NY). Couldn't have been easier thanks to the advice on this site. Scheduled 10k service and brought printed copy of TSB. Told service guy about harsh ride and bottoming out. (I crawled under the truck and you could see where the bump stops were contacting frame -- only clean part of frame). They approved same day and ordered parts. I had them keep the truck and they installed morning of 3rd day. Service guy gave me credit for doing my research. PM me if you need his name. Now the truck rides like one.

Just got mine done at Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney (outside Dallas for the searchers). Told SA on last oil change that I had harsh ride with full load and he just said bring it in when your ready we have parts in stock. Waited until I could pick up some 5100s and took it in. They installed 5100s for free, he said 'we have to replace them anyway doesn't matter if there yours or mine.' Sweet deal, loving the ride so far.

Great first post, welcome to TW!! I haven't had a sig for quite a while, but now I found one and I'm quoting you in my sig. Most people just can't comprehend that the main issue is to say the words, "harsh ride." Congrats for researching, searching, and taking charge of your affairs. Enjoy your new truck!:D

Got the leaf spring TSB done this week at Toyota of Kirkland, a dealership just a few miles east of Seattle. Of course I had to bring it in for "inspection" a week prior, but they quickly approved the job after checking it out and me mentioning the "harsh ride" problem, which the Service Advisor wrote verbatim on the work order. Yup, you need to say those two magic words. Truck sits and rides better now, but the alignment's now a bit off - it pulls slightly to the right; it's not real bad, but bad enough that it would bother me if it continued. I've got a call in to T of K to get it re-aligned, but haven't heard back yet. I fully expect they'll take care of it without hesitation. Their service department seems to be well run, and I specifically recommend "Service Consultant" Doren - great guy to work with!

While truck was there, they also performed the auto trans TSB - what a difference in the way it shifts now. Huge improvement in the way it shifts.

T of K also did the recall mod on the gas pedal while it was there. They asked me first, and I said for them to go ahead and do it. They did a neat, clean job of it as far as appearance, and the pedal doesn't feel any different than before.

My thanks to TW and its members for all your heads-up advice.:)
