Went to Greentree in Brookfield CT. Expected a hassle after initially inquiring on the phone with the sales manager. Took it in yesterday, they gave me a loaner and said they would look into it as soon as possible.

Got a call later that day, they wanted to make sure I knew that with the new 4pack installed I would experience a "rough ride". Other than that, they were very helpful.

Also had the TSB Auto-transmission done to correct the shifting issue between 1st and 2nd, again they did it no questions asked.

Glockner Honda/Toyota in Portsmouth, Ohio is doing mine. Parts are in, work scheduled for 4 May 11. When I took it in to have them check it, they acted like they had never heard about the TSB. After I whipped out a copy and showed them they didn't question anything. It took about a week and a half to get the parts but I kinda feel lucky. I thought it could take a long time with all the trouble in Japan right now.

Just want to put out a good word for Steve Seely at Antwerpen Toyota, in Clarksville, MD. He said he wanted me to "be his customer," so he ordered my TSB.

Thanks Steve, and I will be back!

Toyota of Pullman, WA did my TSB.

    Chronology of events:
11AM: I called, they said, come in today and we'll see what parts we need to order.
4:30PM: They figure out which parts they need.
12PM the next day: They order the parts.
9AM the day after that: The parts arrive, I'm called and drop the truck off same day for the whole day.
4PM: They call, I pick up truck and I'm on my way :D

Very fast, efficient and high quality work at Toyota of Pullman; I'm impressed!

Des Moines is on their 3rd shot at doing it. First time, didn't have the right parts. Second time, said they had the right parts, but installed new versions of the 3-pack. 3rd time they will get it right. This is just F-N ridiculous.

Superstition Springs Toyota, Mesa, AZ. Took it in about 10:00 am, they had it done at 04:00 pm. The service manager also tried telling me it would make the ride worse...it didnt.

The greatest irony about saying the TSB would make the ride worse is that the main complaint in order to get the TSB done is "Harsh ride."

Ditto - explained the "bottoming out" - brought in a printed copy of the TSB, and voila - no hassles...

    Friendly guys!

Printed off the TSB report, took it to them and told them it was rough with a load in.. Called me 3-4 days later and told me to bring her in.. Had it done that evening with no problems!

Thanks to this thread, I called my local dealership and asked them about the rear spring assembly. I told them that I tow a lot and not other questions asked they set me up an appt to get the modifications completed.

FYI: 2010 Taco Owners: There is also a manufacture recall for something with the tires or a sensor for the tires. I will post about that when I have more info to provide.

It's more than just the 2010's. You will get a recall notice in the mail and it only applies to certain wheel/tire combinations - not all of them.

Magic Toyota in Edmonds did mine and they were great. I had my Tacoma in for routine service and mentioned it bottoming out when I had a load in the back. The service manager looked into it and said there was a TSB regarding the rear springs. They ordered the parts immediately and did the work with no issues at all.

Highly recommended dealership. I have had nothing but excellent experiences with both their sales and service departments.

How can you tell if this has been completed. Just purchased a 2005 and noticed that mine is stiff in the rear.
