Recently i got the "commadore" for the truck.. pretty much detailed and a clear coat put on....that was about 4 days ago.... so today is the first day i actually looked at it.... and found that the bottom of all the doors had the clear coat running down it... i mean it was dry already but it looks all messy.. im not sure how to explain how it looks... but its not smooth... and also i saw droplets on the right side.... and some white specs... man they did a poor job....also the paint near the passenger tailight is kind of blurred..... i know for sure that i didnt do any of that... what do you guys think the dealer would do? i mean they did a bad job on the clear coat and i expect them to redo it... i mean how would they do that? smooth out the ridged parts and reapply the clear coat? wouldnt that damage the paint? and about the blurred paint spot.... sigh..oh and a question... does the dealership do the liner for the bed?

    thanks
    Tony

They can wet sand the drips out of it. Take it back, force them to make it right.

i think the paint is "rough" at the bottom of the doors from the factory - thats not it is it? mine sorta looks like really rough orange peel. not crazy about it but if it protects the paint better then so be it

^Yeah, there's a "tape" strip that runs along the bottom.

Yes, to protect from flinging up road debris, i thought the same thing the first time i saw it, but its on most Toyota's, to include even being on some Lexus's, don't worry about it, in the long run you will be happy it was there.

If its something the dealer messed up on then take it back. Make the stealership do it correctly. You paid for a service and you expect it to be done right.
