Dealership didn't fix a part, service report says it was fixed...

One of mine came loose about a year into owning it. It was under warranty, all I had to do was call them up, make an appointment, drop the truck off arrange for someone to pick me up, go back a day later and pick it up and it would have been "free"

Instead I ordered the part online for $30something and installed it myself in 3 minutes. No hassle, no drama, no being jacked around by a semi-retarded douchbag service writer and no concern about the trained monkeys damaging something else while it was there.

For a measly few bucks and avoiding the associated bullshit...I'd do it the same way again

 

Didn't you check it BEFORE you left the dealership ?

 

My stepdad took the truck down there because I was busy with school at the time.
