My mechanic that handles my Harley looks like a fucking pin cushion. I trust no one else with my bikes. Should I reconsider because of his piercings? Maybe you had a bad experience at a dealership. Toyota techs that do invasive maintenance and repairs are all ASE certified and have gone to the some sort of auto mechanic school. Can some be absolute jacktards? Yes, but generalizing because of someone's style or appearance is beyond ridiculous. That's like saying that anyone who runs Fuel Forged deep dish wheels and low profile mud terrains is an asshat. Okay, bad example there, but you get my drift.

I would much rather take my truck to a Harley machanic than a trained Toyota Toyota machanic anyday of the week. I am sure your Harley mechanic's piercings aren't falling out of his face and were probably done at a very high level. Not some dumb kid who decided to jam a 1/2" bolt through his ear one night with his drug addict buddies in a dark garage while in a drugged induced fog. Good luck with your Harley bikes too Sir.

And the dealer probably did just that. The OP, like many who come here, felt no reason to update his post. Seems like the more tragic the situation we see at TW, the less likely we are to ever hear about the outcome.

Just because there are some kids that are hired who basically only do oil changes, tire rotations and maybe a few small repairs, doesn’t mean every Toyota technician is a moron. Lots of good techs in the business.

I am sure there are some very good techs at Toyota. They have to keep someone to do the work. Just not on my Truck. In my eyes they are uneducated drug addicts that cant wait to get off so they can go home and play some stupid video game. Pretty sure none of them are college graduates. More like high school dropouts.

Ok, I am just being honest. It's how I feel. Sorry if this bothers you. I will try harder to not be so judgemental. Thank you for your concern.

This is nothing to WOW about. It's the way society is today. Again, I apologize if my view or perception is not of your norm.

No, it's not anyones norm. Maybe walmarts lube center, but certainly not the norm for any dealership i've ever worked in or even been into.

Ok, I am glad this is not your norm. Maybe it's all me, I am an IT Project Manager for the 2nd largest County in CA. I just have very high expectations of people, maybe to high. I am glad you see it differently. This has been a good constructive conversation. Thank you for your views.

Yes, CA....A failed state in my opinion. 3 or 4 more years, I retire and leave this hellish place forever. Good day my friend and safe wheeling. See you around in the threads.

Here is a perfect example of someone else's perception. You have no Idea who I am, but because I work in IT, you think that explains my views. Well here is some past, college educated, worked in the oil field industry, sold drugs, ran a crew (won't say what we did), have traveled the world, managed million dollar accounts, ran my own business, married, divorced, married again, kids, grandchildren, currently working in a position that has access to DOJ, FBI, and other major agencies. Today I am a just someone in this big game and life is good my TW Brothers. Now what.
