Then technically my 4x2 Limited can off-road too in your first picture...but when they have a TRD PRO with one wheel on a boulder highly tipped and flexed at the yearly auto show, you would think off roading but somewhere in between your two pictures...but I do agree, they sold you a truck, not a boat.

So clearly we didn’t know the extent of the truth here...within reason, warranty, but we weren’t there so the OP can sell us his side of the story but at the end of the day, we aren’t the dealer, see what the dealer sees, and aren’t the ones reimbursing him. I would’ve cleaned everything up and come in playing stupid and never mentioning I offroaded prior to the visit. Better chances but dealers aren’t stupid because if it’s not s common problem they will question it.

Wow, a thread where the OP actually comes back, says thank you after being called out, and moves on to get more help. NOW I've seen everything.

We’ll see. If anything, We can revert posts back to original if he decides to change anything to pull the wool over a certain corporation eyes.

    It’s kinda clear what happened.

“Toyota, let’s go places” ...just don’t go off-roading and if you do, don’t go to the dealer. Did you see it in the fine print? I did!

Well...that looks like any other road through Oakland and...I didn’t see the truck stuck axle deep in mud for a half hour.

OP should be more concerned that his truck actually got stuck because that isn’t shown in commercials.

Then don't advertise a vehicle as offroad and show video of it in your ad going through hub deep mud or blasting through sand dunes.
