Warranty covers manufacture defects not negligence.

Reminds me of my old Jeep buddy...let me dig that one up

You mean the fact that my 01 231k mile gen 1 4 door stripper model, is garaged and kissed and waxed, while my 17PRO sits on curbside, never washed, isn't normal ? :D :D

And the 18 SR I am picking up will sit outside on the farm and I won't ever wash it...

    we all splitting hairs here
without pics nobody can make an appropriate call.
with some dealerships loyalty goes a long way, and some people can will and have gotten stuff warrantied that they should not have...

drum brakes should be stout as all hell.... I have a hard time accepting total failure with getting stuck one time pumpkin deep really really good on a new truck...

metal does not rust out and explode with water and mud in a matter of 12 months... shit rusts but come on..

I have no problem contacting corporate and explaining my side and leaving a vehicle overnight. I’ll make sure to look out for this build up of mud though !def like having brakes working !

Some dealers will do “good will” repairs. This does not mean they all have to do them. Specially if you haven’t cultivated a relationship with them.

New truck or not, negligence is neglicence. Are drum brakes better than disc brakes when it comes to keeping debri out? In some ways, yes. But they are certainly not indestructible.

With the information on this thread and the other, one can see that OP was trying to fix his neglicence on the dealers dime.

I ask again, why should someone pay for someone else’s mistakes?

Out of curiousity, have you read every post in the thread?

If you haven’t...4 months have elapsed between this post and the current OP post.
