Wish I had your job! I am reading sexual harassment memos and figuring out how to deny them, saving the company money and screwing the little guy.

I would to present post #69 into exhibit 1, OP claims "....I power washed my truck when I got home as I always do after taking it off pavement... washed off the tires and brakes from both the outside, as well as from underneath the truck. No, I did not think I would need to take my wheels off and dissect my drum brakes, as it was to my understanding that Toyota added drum brakes to this truck to better suit off road use since they are supposedly “sealed”......."

I would like to present post #49683 where OP stated five months ago that the dealer told him there was mud in there, and he proceeded to ignore it.

No, what happened to the OP is not caused by simply driving on a dirt road.

I totally agree. I went mudding a few months ago while fully stock, prior to my tire/wheel/suspension mods, and when I left the mud and got on pavement I hit the throttle and mud flung everywhere...super fun...until the blind spot system flashed and gave me an error. I drove to the nearest gas station to inspect and found that one of my rear bumper sensors had broken off. I can only assume some of that fast flinging mud hit it just right and broke it. Anyway did I get upset and complain about the flimsy sensor? Yes....to myself! I wasn't going to walk up to the dealer and tell them I was mudding and the sensor broke so I wanted it repaired under warranty.

Moral of the story is Toyota is not liable for repairs on components damaged off-road. If you think otherwise, go ahead a lawyer up, and good luck.

If you do a lot of offroading, especially if you do difficult trails, you will damage something eventually. Especially if you do not keep up with maintenance. And maintenance costs money. Offroading is not a "free" hobby.

He got mud in there and broke it 5 months ago... He didn't drive on swamped rotors for 5 months, your argument is invalid... The defense rests its case

I had a warranty claim get denied by GM because my brakes kept wearing out every 20,000 miles. They determined it was due to my living on a dirt road and said they couldn't cover it because the truck wasn't designed for dirt road driving. I sold that piece of crap and have dogged GM ever since. They really are grocery getter soccer mom trucks.
