Its that new Amazon basics oil. Ultra super synthetic. Gives you about 100k miles between oil changes, but some do it every 60k for good measure

I have 130k miles on my truck and the maintenance required light has been on since 5k. How hard is it to remember to change the oil every 5k? I’m with @PackCon on this I’m not looking up how to reset it every time

This is why I set mine at 32 psi and have it on my screen all the time. I see them drop anywhere from 32 to 29 psi....

Yes, 2nd Gens you held odometer reset while turning the key to ON and it reset the maintenance light

Some Toyota's you have to be on odometer while turning key, some use Trip A

After I saw the maintenance required light it took five seconds to reset it.

1)HOLD Odometer button down turn key off still holding it down.

2)Turn key back on wait 4 seconds let go of button.

    3)Done

I probably wont use it since I generally change my oil sooner, but its super easy to reset.

The reset works the same way in the 3rd gen for the maintenance light.

I like the gauge face though. Mine just plain black, though I did swap all of my LEDs to white. I may have to swap to that faceplate

Lol, you shouldn't have to look it up "everytime"
    • Hold odo reset while set to odometer
    • Turn key to ON
    • Wait until "-----" disappears on IPC
    • ???
    • Profit

    It’s not exactly rocket science...

Beats resetting gm trucks oil and fuel filter life meters. Fuel filter is key on, depress both brake and gas pedal until it resets. Oil life is key on, depress the throttle fully 3 times.

They’ll check to see if your tire pressure sensors aren’t working?

^^tbis requires full dissambly of instrument cluster and soldering off the led off of the board

Had an uncle who sold cars for many years. He would say...you know when a customer was lying? When their mouth was moving.

Most people will blatantly lie and say whatever or do whatever is necessary to trade a vehicle. Rather ironic given that most of those same people would lose their shit if they felt they were being deceived

Haha here is SC you can drive almost anything on the road and there's no inspections. Kinda scary considering the zero suspension and tire maintenance a lot of people do.
