Probably been stated but I don't understand why anyone would bring their vehicle to the dealer for anything other than recall/warranty work. Maybe paying inflating prices and being jerked around makes you feel better?

No, I only go get the service when they have coupons for a 24 dollar oil change and tire rotation

And then you get a $24 oil change and tire rotation from a unskilled minimum wage flunkie - Don't bitch when you get a crappy job on your prized truck. I do it myself with quality parts and take my time to make sure it's done right with no damage.

    ^^ ^^

    That was harsh...
But, yes, I would not expect allot of care involved in a $24. Oil change and tire rotation.
    The idea is great!
The relief of not having to dispose of the used oil does have a benefit.

I do like what my dealer does when you pull up for service. They do a walk around and mark any defects on paper using an outline of a car/truck and the customer then signs it before going in to the service desk. They'll even show the defects so there isn't any confusion on it later. Not fool proof but it helps in cases like this. It is a Toyota/Lexus service center so the Toyota customers get some perks from the Lexus side of the business.

Only reason to go to a dealer around here is mount and balance tires and alignment. No one else around town can either do it right or keep your things out of their pockets.

I got 2 free years of "Toyota care" when I first got my Tacoma. Changed the oil myself rather then let some UTI grad who likes practicing power shifting on others peoples stuff. Although I liked getting the post card from Toyota with the picture of Laurel Coppock on it :)

If you dont say anything it's gonna bother the heck outta you everytime you look at the wheel. Sam's replaced my tires and scratch up all 4 of my wheels. They deny it , so I went to a wheel straightening shop and they wrote me up a damage quote . Took 3 long hours arguing with 2 store managers at the end of the day they cut me a check for all new wheels.

That's a stand-up place and I'd definitely give them return business in the future. Course the SM won't be there after he gets fired by the GM when he sees the cost of sending that wheel refinisher to your place :angrygirl:
