No I just wanted to share the pictures. I had not seen that one yet. I am leaning toward a TRD Offroad in Magnetic Gray. I was looking at the interior options and like the black interior with subtle orange stitching, but I think it would come with the orange dash piece also which I am not fond of.

There is no way for you to get hell of a deal after owning your current truck for only a few months. Just the taxes, fees, registration etc., kill any possibility of breaking even. 2016s are brand new, they will not give you one below invoice, I would be amazed if they gave you one at invoice. They will also not give you back the full price of your current truck. Sorry, I know a lot of people believe that dealers are there to serve them, but they are there ONLY to make money. And between losing you as a customer or losing money, they will choose losing you. Every dealership has lost hundreds of customers over a lot less, just read this forum.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, I'm trying to make a point here - do not let them get more money out of you, HAVE THEM FIX YOUR TRUCK.

Wheel speed sensor issue would not explain the speedometer fluctuations, because that's polled from a separate sensor in the tranny. Most likely the instrument cluster itself is bad (aka combination meter in Toyota speak).

No harm done, I like honest helpful advice even if it does sting a little. But taxes are paid on the difference in cost of my trade in value and new truck cost. Before they had Toyota look at my truck the Sales Manager told me I'd be looking at 3k to get into a new truck. 2k of which was from the added cost of the new truck and 1k for my trade in loss. Maybe the owner will be able to skim a little more off. I am going to go in today with my fingers crossed.

For that matter, lemon law doesn't apply to accessories or rail dust on paint. So, I'm not sure if the misunderstanding of the lemon law process sits on you or your dealer person - but I guess that doesn't matter.

Hope your truck gets squared away.

The knocked another $500 off the deal to get me into a 2016 offroad, so $2500. They had a blue one completely loaded on the lot that I drove. The interior has grown on me, and the front still looks like Bubba's lower lip. I drove it then jumped back in my 2015 and I have to say my 2015 feels a lot better "to me". I like the low end torque and the feel of that torque through the rpm band as compared to the 3.5L. So I'm thinking I want to just keep mine and see what Toyota will do for me as far as a warranty upgrade goes. To me it feels like I didn't accomplish much tonight besides concluding I don't want a 2016 and being able to finally meet with the owner personally.

Be sure to reinforce the idea that you are counting on HIM to stand behind his product and do the right thing.

Ye definitely! Toyota should show how confident they are in their product and offer to take my 3yr 36k electrical and and 5yr 60k powertrain warranty and just make it a 5yr 60k bumper to bumper at the least.

It is a more expensive truck. In their defense Toyota comes in and inspects the truck and says it wasn't the dealers fault, that it had nothing to do with the roof rack leaking. So it's up to the dealer to take a hit and not Toyota? I feel like the dealer is trying to work with me. The owner is the kind of guy that isn't gonna want to see my grandparents everyday without trying to make it right.
