Just got the call from the dealer...no surprise what they said. Basically, their tech called Toyota and was told that this is a "known characteristic" of the truck, and that they are not to do anything to it.

Even the Service Manager from the dealer thought it was BS, and advised me to open a case with Toyota. Already did that, and am supposed to hear from someone within a business day.

I'm already so annoyed that I don't even want to go and pick up the truck from the dealer.

I just picked up my truck last night from the dealer. When I first told them about the problem (my drive line would vibrate from stop to about 30mph, no mods) they acknowledged it, but said they didn't have a fix. That was back in Oct' I think. I found out about the TSB on here before I went in for a service earlier this month. They drove the truck to confirm the drive line vibe issue when I brought it in. Dropped the truck off last Thurs. and picked it up Fri. They kept my ride over night to order parts. They hooked me up with a rental car for the night as the dealership I go to is over a hundred miles away. The TSB was a three step process.
    1) Replace trans mount. They did it and told me it was fixed. I picked up my ride and it was vibrating still but slightly less. So I went right back and spoke with the service foreman. He went to the back to talk with the service tech. to see why they told me it was done. Basically dude "A" drove truck and fixed problem. Dude "B" drove truck to see if it was fixed, not knowing how it was acting before it was fixed. Dude "B" thought it was all good and sent it on down the line. Foreman apologized and said to leave the truck

    **EDIT**
    Zeropilot-

Sorry, I wasn't done with that post and accidentally sent it. They kept the truck and completed the rest of the TSB after I told them it was still vibrating. They ended up replacing the steering wheel dampener (part 2 of TSB), and measuring the drive line angles and replacing the leaf pack (part 3)... no more vibes now. They were awesome to work with. Sorry if that first part led anyone to think other wise. Sucks for all the other service people are getting from their dealerships.

A call to Toyotas "CUSTOMER CARE" department will get the wheels greased for you. They'll then contact your dealer and when you go back next time, they'll be much more helpful. Woops. I see that you DID contact them. Good luck. They took care of business for me on my factory radio issues. They dealership "repaired" or replaced it EIGHT times and then it was out of warranty...After that the dealer wouldn't even talk to me. Toyota Customer Care eventually cut me a check for a replacement stereo that I installed myself. Later, the dealerships owner said that they "tried hard to get that done for me." I no longer buy from them.
