Getting a reminder why I don't go to the dealership. I made a 0930 appointment two weeks ago for a state inspection and to inspect the spare tire mount for a recall. It has been an hour and it is still sitting in the same spot. Just love Rick Hendrick Toyota

Did you leave your number with the service guy? If so, go find something to do besides waiting on the dealership monkeys to look at your truck.
I always go snooping around in the car lot. Looking at the new cars, used cars, messing with the sales guy. If it is not done by then, I walk to the nearest restaurant and have a nice breakfast, then I seek out other sources of entertainment. I once went in to a Gateway computer store and played spider Solitaire on one of their laptops for 2 hours. You have to improvise when you have to go the dealership to get service. Or have someone pick you up and take you back home....if that is a option.

Sounds like last time I went to the Doctor .

Sometimes things don`t go as well as planned I know it happens to me all the time.

Why did you not go get your keys and leave??

    If you were that bothered

I went to the dealer and had them inspect the spare tire carrier lift plate per recall and they took less than 45 minutes and said it was fine. Sorry bout your luck. @Wabs38. Free WIFI & donuts too! Lol!

It is just the service writers trying to sell parts it seems every week they promote something else.

It either comes down the chain or is just that dealership .

    Frame swaps are expensive

The good ones really hate to do this but it is part of the job.
