I’ve had the opposite, guess I’m lucky, Precison Toyota in Tucson knows their shit and won’t fight you on silly warranty issues even with mods, same for Naperville Toyota here in Chicago burbs.

Desert Toyota in Tucson though was terrible enough I took the time to write a negative review same with Del Toyota in PA.

Acton Toyota of Littleton MA does not suck. I have purchased 5 cars/trucks since 1997 and they have always been good to me in both sales and service. Yes occasionally things need a double take or discussing, but in the end we always get a fair deal and good service encounters.

Wade Toyota in St.George Utah, I have had excellent service and Purchase of my Truck from them wish they were closer to me.... Then I been going to Tony Divno's Toyota and So far the service has been good but they are way over priced so that service will end soon.

Kerry Toyota of Florence in Northern Kentucky has been great in every aspect so far. Sales, service, and parts.

Buying my truck was a pretty typical car buying experience from the negotiation standpoint, but there was very little bullshit as far as financing and add-ons. I came prepared with my own financing, and they were able to get me a better rate. Sales guy was really good, and zero pressure.

Several times now, I’ve bought some accessories and some OEM screws (I stripped one in the bed, installing TC Bed Stiffeners), and the guys at the parts counter have been very courteous and professional.

I’d used Kerry for service on my ‘06 Taco in the past with good results, and I’ve had the new one in once so far for its 5k service. I was a little pissed that they followed corporate edict regarding the TSS TSB (I’ve got an OEM Pro Grille), but they went ahead and did the update and recalibration, and made sure I knew how to turn things back on if I wanted to (I did), as long as I signed the acknowledgment (did that too). Just recently, I did the AC drain mod, and was very pleasantly surprised to find my lug nuts properly torqued, with a tiny dab of anti-seize on each stud. I was so surprised I checked a few on the other 3 wheels, and all were proper. They did the job right.

I bought mine at Cowboy Toyota and they've always been easy to work with. No up-sale when I purchased and when I brought it in for maintenance, they did whatever was required. I would go back to them if I was ready to buy again.

Riley Toyota in Jefferson City Mo are a great bunch -sales and service. They are just now getting back up and running after the May tornado. After this:

    And one more:

I think they lost at least 90% of their new and used inventory. Threw the tacos and chevys around like they were "hot-wheels toys. They are a chevy/buick/gmc/cadi dealer in the same immediate area.

Only been once and just for my 10k mile, but after I moved here to Oregon Beaverton Toyota was a great service experience. The service manager called me about the TSB for the front tss sensor while I was enjoying their awesome lobby and mentioned my VIN wasn’t listed as having been fixed but after I explained that it had already been replaced before the TSB went out he was cool with it and trusted me. Even the tech confirmed with me so that he was sure he wasn’t sending off a truck that needed a fix.

I had a very pleasant sales experience at Santa Maria Toyota in CA. Very simplified sales process. They do not use the 4 square sales tactic. I got blue book for my truck trade and they came down a couple thousand from online MSRP for my tacoma without having to haggle with them. Have not done business with the service dept yet.

IMO it’s a two way street that most on here think is one way. Their way. Most of the time a shop will treat the customer with the same respect they are given.

I appreciate the feedback. Looks like a little trip northward may, before long, be in the cards.
