Thinking on it, we did tell a family member to leave and not return. Could easily be him. Gotta get those trail cams up.

Booby trap the place. Trip wires, put some toxic waste barrels around (empty of course) weird shit that makes people uncomfortable. That might scare them off.

Trip wire attached to claymores equipped with those dye packs found in bank notes! Bam, you will be able to spot the people walking around town real easy!

like most all vermin, you gonna wanna catch these ones red handed to be able to properly contain the situation....

most all other options are nothing more than a bandaid fix I am afraid.

signs and cameras would be smart for future proof & evidence

Might I also suggest entertaining the possibility of letting friends camp there too at separate times? Maybe make the grounds appear more busy and increase the chance of catching them in the act?

Trail cams, or a CCTV mounted up high and covertly and aimed/focused to catch faces, license plates, etc. Maybe a few; some near the entrance/gate and others near the area where the RV sits. Preferably wireless, and have alerts sent to your phone if there is movement detected. With them being covertly placed, there's less chance of discovery/destruction and much more opportunity to catch them committing illegal activity.

If that fails, try negotiating with them in the woods, Stallone style:

make them partially sticking out of the ground and put some gouges in them and spray glow in the dark paint on them. Some glowing LEDs inside for full effect.

Not sure if it's been said yet. But you might be able to reach out the the local game warden. See if he can sit down there or patrol the area for a few weeks. whoever it is, they're probably going there from about 10am-4pm or so during the weekdays.
My dad farms and we deal with the same kind of people.

Youre a city/suburban boy aint ya :p Just kidding. OP's property is likely rednecks trespassing on land where theres little-to-no cell connectivity and no electricity. Easiest form of surveillance is trail cams that can hopefully be hidden out of sight.

I feel it’s important to differentiate “rednecks” from sketchy vandals in this case. There are plenty of good people I would call rednecks that would never condone this trashy behavior.
You can never rule out idiot teenagers in cases like this too lol

I don't know how big your town is, you might have some neighbors with the same problem, if the town or the area where your property is small than someone might know something. :notsure: . If they are that destructive and stupid they might have a clue or 2.
