So now that the passenger side wheel bearing is fixed...

I've been hearing what sounds very similar to an object in the bed bounding up and then falling back down when I drive over bumps at low speeds. Except...there is nothing in the bed. Imagine the sound a 3-foot section of 2x4 getting pitched an inch into the air and then falling back into the bed makes...almost exactly like that.

It might be happening at high speeds as well but is being masked by road and other noises.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Check the shocks, make sure the rubbers are where they are supposed to be.

Is the bed loose? Search on here. Over time the composite wears down and the bed will have some play causing a noise.

Yes check the bed for being loose. Especially the front passenger side. Go to each corner of the bed and lift up, if it's loose you'll feel it.

Mine made a ton of noise over bumps before I finally figured out what it was..
