High 80's in the day and pretty dang cold at night. My normal sleeping bag wasn't cutting it.

nice balmy day here in DV, 128 at Furnace Creek. I'm tired of tripping over my OME lift in the living room and after getting acclimated I'm ready to explore, anyone know of a decent garage, Pahrump maybe? or should i just trek into Vegas and be done with it.

Recently got back from a wonderful trip in Owens/Death Valleys. Five days and four nights consisting of the White Mountains, Volcanic Tablelands, Mono Lake, and Death Valley-Mahogany Flat Campground. Lots of new signage in DV.

Hitting Titus Canyon and Scottys castle tomorrow. Any suggestions or pointers? Sounds like the road may still be closed?

Scottys still closed until 2019. The recent event was actually down in Furnace Creek and included "virtual tours" of the castle.

Luckily for him, the road was just plowed. We had to make room for the dude to pass us friday mid morning. The road was as smooth as glass..
