    Ever drive a Jeep and feel the death wobble, scared the $h!t out of me...................Its violent and never want to experience it again. Please don't tell me Tacomas have experienced this.

    i had something like this when i bought my taco the tires were cupping and causing the truck to shake and move the steering wheel at around 60mph got them balanced and that's when they noticed the cupping.
    its a solid axle swap so you get rid of the independent front suspension (IFS) and put a solid axle like a D44 or something.

    Sorry to revamp a old thread but I just started feeling this on my 07 2wd automatic double cab. It only happens on the highway around 60mph. The wheel will start to shake back and forth, at first it's subtle then if I maintain speed it gets worse. You can feel the wheel shaking back and forth and also down near your feet which I'm assuming is the steering shaft. The only fix it to slow down below 50mph and it goes away even when I speed back up to 60-70 its a smooth ride all the way home.
