Recently my 2006 Tacoma prerunner access cab with procomp 17in wheels and nitto crossteks 265/70/17 has been whobbling so bad it’s almost unbearable. When I’m going 30-40 there is a slight wobble but once I get going around 60+ it gets really sketchy and the whole car shakes not only the steering wheel, I recently replaced my center drive shaft bearing and u joint and that has done nothing, the wobble is always there no matter what rmp I’m at or the weather conditions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    I’d look at wheels/tires/balance.

are the wheels hub centric? Whats the center bore size? Any wheel spacers?

Considering it wasn't there before: wheel bearings, lost tire weights, and maybe even loosened alignment points is where I'd look first.

A friends Benz had the problem that appeared one day and got progressively and rapidly worse. It was the stock steering dampner that went out. Tacomas don't have one. Chevrolet had that problem for a couple of years right out of the plant, they added a steering dampner to "fix" it. Lol

What your describing does not appear to be death wobble. Death wobble is known to occur with solid axle vehicles such as jeeps and heavy duty trucks when steering components are worn. As others have said above, look into alignment/balancing issues with your wheels or potentiall wheel bearings

I realize those Jeep comments weren't directed towards me however I'm 100% positive a Benz S Class doesn't have a solid 4WD axle in the front. It definitely had a death wobble prior to replacing the stock steering dampner.

I'll take an extra large popcorn and a small Pepsi please, keep the change.

Death wobble is actually caster wobble. Check the alignment, LCA bushings, etc. Without enough caster, the wheel will start to wobble like a bad wheel on a shopping cart.

Check that your wheels are hub centric. If the inner diameter of the center of the wheel is larger than the outer diameter of the center of the hub, where it locates, you'll get some wobble/vibration.
This is a pretty quick thing to check and from a lot of the reading on here, it sounds fairly common.

It could be a lot of things, but this would be the first thing I would check.
