Nope. The only thing that gets replaced is a bolt right in the center of the pack (comes with the Deavers). The stock overload and all other leafs stay. You just add the single Deaver leaf. Simple. Looks stock. You wouldn’t know anything was done, other than the 1.5” lift.

The only concern I had was overworking the AAL and stock pack when towing/hauling, so I added the Sumo Springs. They are also dead simple and don’t touch or do anything until enough load is applied. Together, they are a simple, relatively inexpensive way to cover the needs you expressed.

On the more pricey side, I added aftermarket ADS Level I shocks front and rear, along with 650# coil springs to raise the front 1.5” and keep the rake stock. I off-road regularly on moderate trails in AZ, and these shocks and coils are HEAVENLY! Waaay more control from the suspension; way fewer hits on the undercarriage, but this may not suit your needs.

    Solid Deaver install.

This is awesome because I just ordered the Deaver AAL to match with my Eibach 2.0 coil overs, and I too have the sumo springs to help when towing our trailer. I run about 260 lbs of constant load and when we go on camp trips that easily gets over 350. I’m in the same boat as far as moderate towing, moderate trails. I bet those ADS float over obstacles. Nice set up man!

Do you guys have a link to the sumo springs? This is the first I have heard of them. I just bought the toyota TRD/bilstein shocks and was gonna throw a Deaver AAL in the back as I occasionally ha e my camper on the back. These sumo springs might be just what I need to make sure I'm covered!
