I have an aluminum canopy maybe 100-150 lbs And a Rear bumper in the future. but I tow a 3000lb pound trailer often and load down with camping gear but do a lot of gravel roads and light wheeling. Also planning on a small travel trailer soon 3500-4000 lbs. run empty most of the time unless driving to and from camping. Not sure of stage 1or 2. Can I buy stage 2 and remove a leaf if to stiff or stage 1 and add a leaf later. Just don’t want a beat the crap out of me ride. Fox 2.5 dcs in near future also

No, you cannot convert a stage 2 to a stage 1 or vice versa. Deaver accidentally sent me a stage 2 (ordered a stage 1). I had to ship back the entire pack in exchange.

The stage 2 will run quite a bit stiffer. Not unbearable, but quite stiff. In addition, you'll get 3" of lift from the light loaded stage 2, vs the 2" from a stage 1.

I'd recommend buying a pack to match your load 90% of the time, and either suffer during the 10% times or buy some airbags.

Had U402's Stage 2 mounted for a bit last winter and took them off as truck was nowhere near built for them yet- I'm gonna put them back on here soon, and even though I'm in Arizona they've corroded a little. I'm not worried about it, but wondering while they're off the truck what treatment I should give them before remounting- Wire wheel brush? paint them with Rustoleum or...? Dry lube, WD-40? Don't do anything?

Same with mine, marked only D10045L29, confirmed with Deaver support, these are the Stage 1 leaf packs.

I just installed my stage 1 Deaver’s today and what a difference in ride. Compared to stock springs and a block lift. Much much better. I need some rear shocks now!!!!!!!upload_2020-11-21_15-34-27.pngupload_2020-11-21_15-34-29.png

I would get your truck weighed that stuff adds up and could be higher than you think. Also consider any future upgrade my truck was 500-600 higher than I thought

I put mine on today and towed my work trailer for a few. And I would say stage 2 for sure on your setup

Put my Stage 1 leaf pack on today. Rear of my 2013 DCSB 4WD TRD-OR came up exactly 2.5” over my sagging 3+1 TSB springs. RIDES SO MUCH tighter, corners better, no bottoming out on a big dip on my road, braking and accelerating seem more solid.

A ton of rake with my old 883s up front, 884s arrive tomorrow and will hopefully lift front 2” to match.

Also, this thread should be in General Suspension not 3rd Gen...
