About to install these new Deaver u402 leafs with supplied poly bushings. Should I lube the bushings? If yes, with what?

Did not come with any lube or instructions.

Perfect. Just bought some NGLI #2 grease for the SPC upper control arms anyway.

I installed my stage 2s over the weekend. I dropped the truck off for an alignment today and they called back saying there was some pretty major toe to the rear axle. They think it’s because the springs are supposed to be side specific.

Doesn’t make sense to me, b/c stage 2s are supposed to match.

    Anyone seen this before?

How far off is it? Is it possible the leaf center pin isn't seated in the spring perch? Worst case scenario, I'd swap sides with the leafs and see if you get better results.

I highly doubt it... but is one of your leafs installed backwards? The military wrap should be forward on both leaf packs. The Berlin eye goes to the rear.

Possible, but not likely. We seated everything and double checked it. The double wrapped sides were facing the front.

Yep, double wrap goes forward (worth double checking).

Do you still have the factory hangers and shackles? Did you swap those for Archive Garage or BAMF hangers or shackles? Confirm both shackles are facing the proper direction.

U402 Stage II just arrived. I totally underestimated how big these were. 2.75" thick at the clamp, and almost 73 pounds each without bushings. Still waiting on shocks from Radflo before I get everything installed.

When did you place your order? I placed an order through wheelers back in mid Feb and still waiting on a set of stage 1s.

I ordered from “Stage 3 Motorsports” March 8th or 9th. The return label on the shipping tags said they shipped from Deaver in Santa Ana, CA.

I'm looking for input those who have installed Deaver stage 3s at home. I just installed some Icon shocks/coilovers and Deaver stage 3s this weekend on my 2020 trd off road.

I'm looking for a couple pieces of advice. What did you do with the 2nd bracket for the brake line? There's no mounting point for it on the deavers like on the OEM leafs. I currently zip tied the bracket to a bolt on the leaf pack. Any suggestions in that area are appreciated. Also, with no equipment loaded on the truck, there's some serious rake from rear to front (about 3.5 inch difference). I'm going to adjust the front coilovers to bring the front end up a bit (after driving a bit front lift increased about 1 inch), and it will probably be fine when I add weight when I go out exploring. But right now, with no weight, the backend sits really high.

I bought the stage 3s because last time I loaded up the truck with everything it was seriously sagging in it's OEM state, and thought there's no way I can keep doing that, so I figured just go stage 3.

I ran into the same issue with my stage 2's. I just let it that bracket dangle. The parking brake already seemed really stretched out and even if I had a spot to mount it I'd probably still leave it off due to this. I just checked mine and I don't see any signs of additional wear because of this. The cable is secured on another bracket further up so you should be fine.

Thanks @piotr1aj I kinda figured the same. I'll double check that and maybe remove the zip tie.

I drilled the bracket hole out a bit and attached it to the Deaver brackets. Those bolts come apart pretty easily. It moved the bracket toward the front a bit, but still left plenty of room for the e-brake line to hang freely.

Agreed on the rake...you definitely need to have the prescribed weight present in the truck bed or your 2 inch lift turns into a 4 really quickly.

That's a good idea about the bracket. Yeah, I will have to decide next steps for the rake. Either swap for something else or add some permanent weight... got some thinking to do.

I am ordering a set of U402 stage 2 springs for my stock 2018 with 50k km. Are new bushings required? If so, which rubber bushings should I buy?

Actually I just noticed that my supplier (Overland Outfitters in Canada) includes bushings, and I added the u bolts to the order because I wasn't sure I could reuse the stock ones.

I am reading that rubber has superior vibration isolation and can be quieter. Did you get rubber, or polyurethane?
