Deaver Stage III, Icon Stage 3 (minus Icon leafs), BFG K02s, Prinsu roof rack, Diamondback HD, CaliRaised Ditch lights and Brackets, Clazzio Seat Covers, Rearseat 12v Power & USB, Bed cubby 12v Power & USB, Interior LED bulbs, Toyota OEM tailgate lock.
The ones I received were polyurethane. I would imagine poly bushings would have a longer life than rubber, but I am relatively new to modding my tacoma so still learning.

To mount the parking brake cable I drilled and taped a hole in the bracket on the Deaver's, it is an M8 x 1.25. To do this I removed the Deaver bracket bolt and wedged a pry bar in between the bracket and leaf pack to create space for drilling and tapping. The stock bracket bolted right on and with a slight angle tweak on the brake cable bracket it is perfect.

Which leaf would I remove to convert the U402 stage 2 packs I bought, to stage 1?

On the u402 stage 2’s the 2” lift option are people getting the 2” or is it more/less?

I venture to say a bit more than 2" if running a lighter load. I have been impressed with how little sag the springs have with a heavy load. IMO there is no need to add any more lift than what the springs offer. I will snap a photo of my rig tomorrow with about 600-700 lbs on the back and post it when I am back in service. I do have 4 degree pinion shims which add about 1/4" more height.

Thank you! I really don’t want a ton more than 2” I’m working on adding more weight but between skids, sliders, tire, and the stuff I always have in the bed I should be about right. Will have a hc bumper within a year.

I added u402s and only have about 350#s in the back. It's probably about 2.5, but doesn't look too high with 33s. No issues with needing new brake lines. Rides great.

Mine came with bushings and U-bolts. However, I think I was one of the last sets to come with them. I'd order the Deaver bushings and U-bolts.

According to Deaver, you can't convert packs... they're completely different leaf sets. Makes sense, because both my stage II and stage I had 9 leafs.

Here is a photo of my rig with Stage II leaf packs and 33" tires and about 600 pounds in/on the rear. I also have 4 degree pinion shims which add about 1/4" more height. I will probably raise the front a bit more to reduce the rake slightly.

You can try but I could not get them to answer the phone. I bought them at the same price Deaver offers at Caliraisedoffroad in Buena Park.

100% I bought direct and had a custom set built. Think Stage III+. They also serviced them when I needed (bushings, silencing pads, repaint) Just go pop your head in if you can't get them on the phone. Great guys! If you can, know how much your truck weighs on all four corners and what kind of load you'll be carrying to help them dial it in for you.

Ah! Good to know, thank you. In terms of custom Leafs, did it cost significantly more than the cost of a similarly optioned stage 3? I’m wondering if I can get them to build a stage one that would yield 3” lift instead of the usual 2”.

They did a custom spring pack on my Super Duty years back. They can do anything.

+1 on that. they can do anything. mine weren't a lot more than a stage III i think.
