What is everyone seeing in terms of lead times for their orders? Going on 10 weeks now for stage II’s.

Yikes. I ordered some stage III back in March, and they were delivered in 3 weeks.

I just got my Stage 2 Deavers in and was wondering which side goes to the shackle and which goes to the solid hanger

I ordered mine late April. Today I received one spring and the hardware kit. The other spring is still in transit per ups website.

Looking at the invoice and sticker on the single spring I have. They sent me stage 3 springs. I ordered stage 2.

I contacted deaver to see if maybe the spring just had the wrong sticker, turns out I was sent the wrong spring.

Since I have a upcoming camping trip planned and they made the mistake Deaver is overnighting me a pair of stage 2s. I cannot fathom the cost to ship a set of leaf springs across country overnight but they are making it happen.

Big kudos to them. I cannot express how great it is to see a company that owns up to its mistake and then take drastic measures to resolve it.

So if all goes well I should be receiving my correct springs tomorrow

To the guys with custom Deavers, how much were the custom springs? Similar in price to the U402s? I'm in SD. Would like to head north to check out Deaver's HQ and order some custom springs.

Has anyone with expedition stage IIs taken off their heavy topper/camper/armor, etc, and ran the truck for a while with an empty bed? I'm thinking about going to a soft topper and will have nowhere near enough weight to justify stage IIs. I know it'll be stiff and ride like shit, but wondering whether it'll lift the truck too much and mess with brake lines or driveshaft angle.

I have stage 2’s and just a spare and recovery gear in the bed now and it doesn’t ride like crap at all. It’s stiffer for sure but doesn’t make the ride uncomfortable. I’ve also noticed that with it being a little stiffer it’s a lot nicer on the highway and feels a lot more stable.

No idea, however my comment would be they are made to order so it is probably safe to assume it just like most other things right now and probably in the 6 - 8 week range if not more.

i actually was able to get a hold of Jeff from Deaver. spoke to him and he said that around mid October he will have some stage III available from the backorder. So I contacted my dealer here in Hawaii to place an order for the springs cause they can get a better shipping deal.
