Yeah just got them in on Friday. I got a little over 3 inches of lift. You might be right though, I’ll let them settle in for a bit and check back in.

I had a hard time choosing between Stage 1 and 2. I ultimately went Stage 1 because I was more worried about being over-sprung with lighter loads than occasionally over the optimum load. So far am happy with the choice, they ride great with my normal load which is a Diamondback, RTT and about 100lbs of gear. I haven't loaded them down really heavy yet, but I think they will be just fine with a full load of camping gear and people. The Deavers are a whole new level compared to factory springs.

Yeah I loaded up my bed pretty heavy a few times since the install and they did settle some. I threw some extra gear in the back for daily driving and that also helped. I can feel a really really light vibe sometimes but might just be my MTs. Big improvement from the initial install though.

Are they riding pretty nice overall / how much lift did you get after they settled?

I was about to get stage 1’s but I only keep maybe 100lb constant load in the back. You think these springs are overkill?

I just put on King 2.5, SPC upper control arms, 285’s, and stage II’s. I have an RSI cap and a RTT. My feeling is that I should have gone with Stage I’s, as it is a still a little high and I am chasing vibration problems. The truck is used 90% on road, 10% off road, camping….I might switch to stage I’s

so back to your question, stage II’s will be way overkill with only 100lbs of constant load, IMO, and you won’t be happy with the ride on road.

Yep same here. Probably going to switch to stage 1’s and back to 600# springs in the front at some point soon.

Appreciate the feedback. Figured stage 1 would be fine but just wanted to hear from someone who had them.

I am running a DCLB with ARE topper and went Expedition stage 2. Was too harsh. I called Deaver and they recommended removing the 5th leaf.

    Much better. Good riding springs

Going to pull 5th spring. Thanks for that info. Was considering this before but since Deaver recommended it, I’ll do it.

I’d call them to make sure. Maybe the person you get recommends another leaf. Lol.

Also that’s the 5th leaf from top of the stack.

Knowing what I do know I would have went stage 1. With the weight of the topper almost 200lbs. I thought it would be ok with stage 2.

    I was wrong. Lol.

I’m sure all of you have seen this, but this makes it real easy to pick a spring pack. No guessing. Just add up what will be in the truck, that’s it. I have between 4-600 lbs in the bed depending on the trip, 400 constant. The stage 2’s ride better than stock.
