Is there a difference between the three model of expedition leaf packs as far as leaf count and thickness goes?

Sure thing, It's exactly 3 inches after measuring a little closer. The U402 Leaf Pack has 10 leafs.

Great yeah the 500-700 lbs constant load is 10 leafs (8 top and 2 overload) but mine is only 2 3/4" thick measuring from the center

    Form follows function
Took the topper w/ roof rack off (~250-300lb). Made a difference. I mean it’s not like riding on a horse drawn chariot, but not as smooth on the bumps. Stayed at 3” lift. Feels a little stiffer than I prefer. As of note I have a bedslide, shovel and hi lift for around 100lb. Would be even stiffer without these. Topper is going back on after I’m done working on the rack.
    PS: I have the U402.

Just ordered the bilstein 8112/8100 combo and now cojitating Deaver leaf pack options.

8100 literature says meant for 1.5” lift - is that the number you had Deaver fabricate to?

Wondering if a stock u402 will work, even though it states that it provides a 3” lift.

Decisions... calling Deaver Monday but thought I’d soak up as much as I can here on TW prior.

    Thx!

I am adding some @ARCHIVE garage hangers this weekend and need to add some spacers to each eye. Was thinking about maybe adding some grease to the deaver bushings (poly?) and possibly the stock shackle bushing while in there. Anybody have any advice? Pros and cons. I heard some say dirt just sticks and eventually makes it worse. Also white lithium. I haven’t had a chance to pin point the rear squeak but just assume its coming from the shackles or deaver bushings. Thanks for any help!

I used NGLI multi purpose grease on the pads and around the center bolt. No complaints.

I also disassembled the packs sanded some areas and repainted for rust.

Cool thanks. Wont be taking apart the pack tomorrow sometime in the near future. Not much of a coating put on from deaver. A little rust after a year + here in California

You still running the deavers? I'm curious how they are still holding up.

Has anybody gone from all pro expo springs to the deaver u402 stage 3 springs? The expos are a little soft for my setup and I'm fixing to add a GFC and was wondering how the deavers would hold up.

Looking to add 2-3” of lift to the rear to level the truck out. Will the Deaver U402 expo pack stage one be too stiff if I can not carrying any extra weight?

I hear negative reviews on the Deaver J66 pack.

If anyone is interested I have a set of deaver springs u402 stage 1 with only 3000 miles. I removed them because I sold my truck. I also have some brand new archive garage shackles.
