Tell me more: Why did you not sell them with the truck? Were they not already installed? Did you use them with stock hangers and shackles? If so how much lift did you get and did they settle some? You also have Hammer Hangers and Archive Garage shackles or just shackles? What benefit does the Archive Garage shackles provide? I am still debating if this is a direction I want to go. Thanks

I still had the stock leaf springs and since I traded in my truck I figure I would remove the deavers springs since I paid good money for them. The springs were on the archive garage hangers and stock shackles. The lift was about 2/12 inches. They still needed to settle but it was taking long because I didn’t carry anything in the bed and the truck wasn’t daily driven. I only have the archive shackles. The hammer hangers stayed on the truck.

What were the Archive shackles going to do for you? Is it safe to conclude that they would provide more droop? Why did you not keep the Taco if you don't mind sharing?

The Reason I bought the shackles was so that I could decrease the height a little bit being the the shackles are a little longer than stock. The reason I did not keep the taco was because I need it something bigger for the family.

Did you happen to get hub to fender measurements? I'm trying to figure out what I can get away with for rear lift. My stock leafs are sacked out.

Wow. I think I'm around 21.5 -21.75 on stock springs. Might look a little goofy unless I touch the front.

they haven’t settle yet. It’s suppose to give you a 1.5 lift once they settle or depending on how much weight you add.

Did you make your own cross tube brace? I see them made to order but for the price I can fab one up for way less. Just need a blue print. I ordered BAMF hangers so when they come I think I'll tackle the brace. Is it that noticeable of a difference? I guess it would depend on how you use your truck but the rear for me is loaded down all the time.

I ordered mine from archive and installed immediately with hangers so I have no reference without brace. If you need any measurements I’m glad to help.

    A couple of questions:
I have stage 2 and if I'm reading this thread correctly, I just put 3" lift in the back- (I lost my measurements from before install, but seems like 3" is accurate). I had some strong driveline vibes which went away 90% with a 4 degree shim. But still one very minor vibes between 15-25mph so I'm wondering:
    1. How much vibration is too much? Should I work to reduce vibes until it drives like when I bought it?
    2. Has anyone taken a leaf out of one of these packs- is that even possible?
3 other ways to keep reducing vibes?

How do you like your stage 2 with this setup? I can't decide between stage 2 and stage 3 - I have an access cab with high clearance swingout, fiberglass shell, sliders, and the occasional 100-150 pounds of camping gear. Seems like I'd be at the high end of the stage 2 but at the low end or just below the stage 3.

So I am now at the high end of the stage II and they are holding fine but I plan to upgrade to the Stage III. They lost a bit of lift and sitting about 2" but to be expected with the load. The main impact on the weight is the rear bumper because instead of sitting above or forward of the axle it is behind and acts somewhat like a cantilever.

    250lbs - GFC
    300+lbs - HC Swing out
    150lbs - Gear
700lbs - Time for me to upgrade

If you are on the fence, go a stage higher

0F248C13-5AD9-4A20-8426-F6859C6FEE00.jpg I have a few questions. My current set up includes a home made wooden drawer system, a truck cap, a rooftop tent, and a couple hundred pounds of gear on a regular basis. I’m currently running the headstrong off-road three leaf AAL and as you can see even when not fully loaded with the rooftop tent I have about an inch of negative rake. I’m thinking of getting the Dever stage II kit. I just have a few questions.
1 Will I need extended brake lines?
2 I’m currently running 5100 shocks in the rear. Will I need extended shocks?
3 how much lift should I expect over stock height?
4 I assume they are compatible with the timbren u bolt flip kit and bump stops?

thanks in advance for your help.
