Is a loose rebound clip on a leaf spring OK?
Is there anything I can do other than disassemble the entire spring and drill it out to repair?
    Thanks in advance

Anything I can do to fix or do I have to drill it out?

I just ran out and looked at mine. Ya should be super easy to run a quick bead on it with a MIG. it might be a hassle to work a warranty replacement with Deaver, often you have to pay to have it shipped back etc but I don't know, could be hassle free.

If it's a hassle, you can probably find a friend or TW buddy to do a quick fix for you or for $20 at a local fab shop.

It's frustrating. I bought new springs so I wouldn't have problems.

I think you should be able to re-secure that u-bracket without disassembling the pack. Or just loosen the center pin to the edge of the bolt/pin so the leafs decompress enough to reattach the bracket securely.

Send Deaver an email, they should be on the hook for that. When they found out they sent me the wrong leaf pack (stage II instead of stage I), they shipped me a new set (less than a week to my door) and provided a return label for the stage II at no cost to me. You paid a premium for the quality and service... be sure to get the value you paid for.

    It is riveted, not bolted.

I’m no expert in those massive rivets. You could get a river one size larger and hammer that in there after drilling out the bracket.

Maybe the original river was undersized and Deaver can ship you a new rivet?

I know its riveted. I'm suggesting he loosen the centering pin as much as possible so the leafs are not under tension so there is a tad more maneuverability to resecure the bracket.

Then again, he's only 4x more nuts/bolts away from completely disassembling the pack and doing a proper repair..

If the rivet is loose, it likely cannot be pressed back in. I believe they are a one-time affair. I could be wrong.

I did call Deaver and they mentioned the only way to properly repair it is to disassemble the pack. Drill out the rivet and put in a new rivet, which I am not doing on brand new springs.
They said to call back we can talk about other possible solutions.

I didn't buy them from Deaver because they were sold out, I got them from Runnin4Tacos.

I sent Runnin4Tacos an email and just waiting for a response.

Also UPS completely No Showed the 1st delivery day. Then showed up after their 4 hour estimated window on the 2nd delivery day. Then on the 3rd day, the UPS driver told my wife he brought the springs all the way to the front door (the day before) and no one was home to sign and it ruined his day because he had to carry the springs back to the truck... $200 for shipping

Tack it, or cut it off and put some clamps from oreillys on.
