About to install Deaver U402 and I'm not sure which end is which. Emailed and tried to contact Deaver but no dice, been a week already. Is the double wrap end the forward or aft end?

I'll go with your recommendation since you're running them.

On Raptors the military wrap goes in the front though.

Haven't had the pleasure of putting Deavers on a taco yet.

Military wrap to the front. Don't torque anything until the truck has the tires on and it's back on the ground, fully at rest. Re-torque your new u-bolts after about 100 miles of driving.

Deaver wants the ubolts torqued to something in the 90+ ft-lb range. You should call them instead of email, I called with my questions and got answers really quick

I have Deavers... the Military wrap (double wrap) goes towards the front and the Berlin eye (single wrap) goes towards the rear. Assuming you have stage 1 or 2, there's no specific left or right side, unless labeled otherwise.

The purpose of the double wrap in front, is if you break your main leaf, you don't catapult your axle. At least that's what I read on the interwebz.

Edit: Here's an interested article in Mototrend, by Deaver themselves...

I was at Deavers last week to pick up new ubolts. I asked for torque setting and they told me 96ft-Lbs. U402 stage 2

Nice! Looks like the single wrap is on the aft end. 96-ft pounds sounds like a lot on those u-bolts will at least the ones that I got which look the same that came with my icon AAL kit. Are the Deaver u-bolts zinc gold color? Those were the ones that were sent initially by runnin4tacos with the kit but they had questionable washers and nuts that were different threads on some so I returned them. This pic is in comparison with stock. PXL_20210615_162034600.jpg

No my ubolts were not zinc. But 96 ft pounds was the number.

Installed my Deaver u402 stage one’s last night in the driveway, got it done in two hours.
I left the tires on and jacked up the frame from the tow hitch, and slid the leaf pack out towards the front of the truck.
Not having the rear end ”bucking” over speed bumps is by far the best part of this install.

Went to check torque after a couple days of driving and noticed this on my new Deaver U402 leaf pack mind you I have zero weight in the bed and a stock rear bumper. Kinda frustrating when you think your spending a few extra dollars for a better quality product. But other then this the ride is nice.
I just removed the clamp as I didn’t want to hear it.
