Im just gonna leave it off.
I didn’t spent the money for better rivets, I spent the money for better quality control, assembly and some sort of piece of mind that things wouldn’t be rattling off driving down the road.

You can’t quality control a rivet that breaks...

I didn’t secure it on the leafs as there really isn’t a place. I’ve checked for wear and have found none. It’s been about 6 months with decent off-road miles. I’ve incorporated check for wear with my other maintenance items.

Looks like the proper thread for my question: how the military wrap leaf should be installed in the pack? I did disassemble the pack to do maintenance and figured out that the second leaf which ends up with military wrap has a slotted center hole(oval), all other leaves have round center holes. It means this leaf can be moved in the pack to make a contact with the front eye on the first(main) leaf. So, it can mostly touch(wrapping) the eye or it can touch it just a little bit. Looks like it can't move while the center bolt is in place. The photo of the stage 3 leaf pack after 4+ years of hard using before I disassemble it. Just looking for a confirmation how should I proceed.

@El Taco Diablo @10YSON what do you think about that? Do I need to pay attention to this military wrap? The difference is just about 1/8 of an inch when I move the second leaf.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Looks to me like they are assembled correctly. I would bet the oval holes you are talking about didn't start out oval. They are probably oval due to 4 years of use.

The photo above was taken before I disassemble it. This is after maintenance and assembly.
