I bought these Deaver Stage II (U402) leaf packs last week, had Central Coast 4WD install them and took them off 12 hours later. They were too soft for my camper build. They are literally, brand new except for about six miles on them. I paid $1077 with tax and shipping. $900 - pickup in Santa Cruz, Ca.

    Thanks.

Probably the same price to buy new and ship? Not sure. I think I paid $130 to ship them 300 miles from So. Cal to Central California.

That's a fair price and it's probably because you are out CA and will not pay sales tax. Get those.

2.5" OME lift, Fox 2.5 coil overs, all pro expo leafs, ubolt flip kit w/ upgraded bump stops, 1.25" wheel spacers, 16" Bronze KMC Impact OL wheels, 295/75/r16 Nitto grapplers, beige Softopper, Brute force front bumper w/smittybilt winch, RCI rear bumper, caliraised rock sliders, TRD IFS skid plate custom swingout tailgate w/spare tire mount, TC bed stiffeners, Magnum force CAI, KC spotlights, tacomabeast headlights, rear seat molle panel odds and ends, hi lift, MESO interior lights, and a fuck load of patches… more planned for later.
Damn, I need new leafs but the stage II's might be a tad overkill for just a camper and rear bumper. I'll have to stew it over.

Deaver says 400-600lb constant weight, but I found them too soft with about 500lbs in the bed. My friend has a GFC camper on his and it rides pretty great even empty. But that camper is about 275lbs.

Sorry I meant camper shell not a GFC. Shell is only like 150lb

    All the things!
First of all, Deavers are amazing. If you're thinking about it, do it!

So, I ordered the stage 1 from Wheelers, but Deaver accidentally sent me stage 2's. I thought the label on the spring was an error, so I installed them anyways. I had them for about 2 weeks, before I contacted Deaver and sorted out the error. I then swapped them to the stage 1. Here's my impressions...

My truck sounds similarly equipped as yours. I have BAMF sliders, Mobtown bed bars, and an RCI steel rear bumper. See photo below with Stage 2's.

With the stage 2, I got about 3" lift over stock. It was a very firm ride, but not harsh. My condo has a bunch of speed bumps, and there wasn't much compression when hitting them. So I added 300 lbs of sand bags to the bed. It helped, but I still had about 3" of lift, however the ride was much more compliant.

After I swapped to stage 1's, the ride was considerably softer, and I only had 2" of lift. This was my goal, so I'm happy with it.

I could have lived with the ride of the stage 2's, but I didn't want that much lift.

    Here's the stage 1 photo.

Good luck with the sale OP!

This is very tempting as well. I'm looking at new leafs in the back. I've got a 2011 DCLB and want to eventually put a hard cap on the back and want to get about 2 inch of lift after settling. I don't carry a ton of weight in the back unless I'm out hunting or camping.

What stage did you end up going with? I’m about to pick up a camper shell (250lbs); I will also have a full sized spare (255/80/17) and a wooden drawer system constantly in the bed.

Actually ended up going with the all pro standard leafs since I only have the camper shell and rear bumper. I dont carry enough weight to justify getting a heavier pack like deaver or the all pro expos.
