Deaver U402's Stage 1 leaf springs

    Mine are actually getting replaced with 12" Kings and a shock relocation kit this week but they've been fine for years now.

    I should clarify actually...

    Fluid film will cause noise if used on the slider pucks. It's not from dirt getting in though. It's because Fluid Film is a wax (wool wax) and you get kinda that stick-slip noise (like pops and clicks, not squeaks) after it dries a bit. It's almost kinda sticky/grippy so the initial movement makes a noise as it breaks that friction, but then quiet again after that until the leafs stop moving and then it happens again. And that noise only happens on slow speed stuff like weight transfer when turning.

    Fluid Film works great on the exterior of the leafs to prevent rust. But actual grease like red & tacky works best on the slider pucks.
