    I'm having the exact same debate on my Mag Grey AC. I think I'll dip them and see how I like it, then if I don't I'll debadge.

    Same problem, different color truck (Alpine White)...

    Dipped the wheels/grills/emblems on my white S4 this summer, but hated how tedious removing excess was.

    :(

    * S4 is a 2004. Pic taken this spring/summer...

    Nice! So weird... My post shows up before yours but I saw your post before I posted :confused: My favorite cars! I'd love to have both my Taco and an S4 but had to choose one :( you lucky SOB

    I removed my badges first OP. I sprayed mine with duplicolor but if I was going to do it again I'd dip them.

    Same thing happened to me... After 6-8 months, it started lifting.

    I regularly clean my vehicles, so ArmourAll gets applied repeatedly. It seemed to expedite the peeling process.

    :(

    Dipped....:) The dip on the tailgate emblems are a few months old at this point, that's why they look dirty. This picture was taken just after I dipped my back bumper.

    I took everything off the tailgate and dipped the side emblems. If they ever peel or mess up, I'll take it off and re-dip them. For an hour or so worth of effort, plastidip is nice.

    I debadged my 2011 but I dipped the 13. I like them either way personally.

    Just getting started
    OK, New guy question here. What's the best way to debadge my truck (hair dryer/heat gun ect). Second, how do I do the plastic dip? Where do I get the stuff and what's the exact step by step process. Thanks!

    Removal is heat and fishing line. That is how I took them off the 2011

    Plasti-Dip you can get in a rattle can at Home Depot. It is basically rubberized paint that can be removed from smooth surfaces. Mask off the emblem leaving a inch or so outside of the emblem. Spray lite coats (I sprayed 10 on mine) leaving about 20 mins between each coat. On the last coat wait about 10 mins then begin peeling it off the paint. I should stick on the emblem with no issues.

    I tried a lot and I am inpatient I just pulled them off carefully then used goo gone to remove all the adhesive. Damn hair dryer I tried and that sucked!!! Fishing line broke in half by then I was like f#$##it!! :) Go buy the plastidip in a spray can at Lowes then tape off the letters with it about 4-5 going all the way around it so you don't get it on the paint. It all peels off thought if you screw up and you wanna apply 4-5 light coats on it waiting on 30min in between each coat
