Debadged Tailgate??

Partially debadged my Tacoma today. Took off the "V6" and the "Toyota". Debating about removing the Tacoma emblem too or going a different route. What do you guys think?

 

So much easier to clean without the free advertising on the truck. Just my opinion though.

 

I took all mine off. Just trying to decide if I want to remove the TRD sticker. I like it better with the emblems off. Truck looks cleaner.

 

I took everything off my tailgate and plastidipped my door badges, now I am about to take those off as well.

 

I do not like the "font" that Toyota has been using for the last decade or so. I plan to remove all badges and replace the mudflaps with more flexible ones with the old school "4WD" on them.

 

The only ones I left were the emblem on the 2011 grill and the SR5 on the tailgate

 

debadged. looks simple and clean. less distracting chrome badges to take away from the lines of the truck!

I talked about doing it for 3yrs and some change since purchasing my Tacoma brand new in 2012!Debadged all the emblems recently and wished i would of done it earlier!

 

Took them all off within weeks of purchase... never once wished I had kept them.

 

I just got done doing the doors on it, doors look much better. All thats left is that one on the tailgate now, still debating about whether to go back out n get that one too

 

What did you decide on the sticker emblem?

 

Going to leave em for now, working on getting custom ones made up. Only leaving em on so i can put tape over the lines to line up the new ones properly when they come in

I left the door ones on, but the tailgate used to looked like a bilboard lol.

 

I took em all off except the small Toyota one. I like it and that's all that matters.

Sup Juxa! We have very very similar setups minus the wheels. Got any pics of just the tailgate? What rims are those btw? Those are next on my list

I like my Taco's shaved and waxed.

 

I finished it! Looks SOOO much better all the way done. Glad I worked up the courage to do it, it looks great!
