Debadging - Should I leave the "TRD 4X4 Off Road" decal On or Off?

Bro that sticker is sick !!!! I really like that !!

 

My wife kept saying “why do you want it to say turd on the side of your truck “ next day they were in the trash!

 

Love the sticker. Do what you want. Everyone has an opinion. To me the debadged look, appears cheap. Again, opinions.

I was going to take mine off, but it grew on me over time. That little bit of colour on the silver sky is welcome. It’s kinda part of the look, and as cheesy as it sounds, I catch other Taco owners all the time checking my truck out to see if it’s a Sport or OR because I no longer have stock wheels. Answers their question if nothing else.

 

I took mine off and replaced it.

 

Its all personal preference. I voted remove because thats my preference. Mine were removed within 48hrs of purchase. 2 years later I'm still happy with my choice.

 

I think de badged looks too boring. Like an unfinished looking vehicle.

No photos at the moment... but totally naked inferno owner here. Except for tailgate inserts. Prefer a clean look and am working on my own custom decals. Small of course.

Another one of these "what looks good? threads" Good god people -- grow up and learn to think for yourself -- you are asking the opinions of who knows what kind of characters!! what the hell is that worth --NOTHING!
Maybe then you will feel as I do -- I LIKE WHAT I LIKE -- who cares what others feel about my likes /dislikes!

 

I prefer lightly or completely debadged. If Toyota wants to pay me for free advertising they can ask about my licensing fees.

 

I debadged right after I had walked up to the wrong truck in the parking lot.

 

I was suppose to get one just like yours. But noticed how the side closes to the gas tank looked different from the TRD Pro's. Also wanted to hug the contours of the fender as close as possible.
Both are far better that the little lonely TRD Sport decal.

 

I took mine off. Don’t need the world knowing I have a 4x4. It’s also funny hearing people say I have a 2wd, apparently that is determined by a sticker.

 

What ever you decide just do it as early as possible and don't wait or else the paint underneath will fade unevenly!

 

I took those stickers off to put on all black matte ones and actually liked the look without them. Drove around a few months bare before finally putting the all black ones on. Definitely like both looks better than the stock sticker though...
