    It's hard to be impartial. But later model 2nd gens are the most reliable.

    Just take a little time and read the 3rd gen section, and all the problems experienced. Leaks, anemic transmission, stalling, noises, vibrations, recalls, etc.

    Pelfreybuilt Skids. ModCo wheels. Sliders. Cruise Control. Intermittent Wipers. Fog Lights.
    Sounds like you need a 2nd gen regular cab to me. None of those annoying electronic gizmos like power windows, power door locks...ugg. :)
