I had one of their first gen one. Total crap as it fell apart in less than a year, but they've redesigned it and taken care of all the flaws from what I can tell.

My problem was fitting things under it, and loosing the tie down rails for using the cleats to secure smaller things. For one thing, one of my air compressors had to be laid on it's side with 1 wheel removed to close it. Bikes also could not be laid down and have it close. My second air compressor would not fit at all.

When my BakFlip fell apart I replaced it with a Bestop Suppertopper. It was around $550-$580 IIRC so it was MUCH cheaper than any fiberglass cover. It lets me haul just about everything I need underneith it, and fold it forward for the few times I have something taller. It can also be removed in a couple minutes by 1 person. Just take the windows out, fold it forward, and pop 4 pins out. It's made out of the same material as Jeep soft tops and other convertables so it won't stretch very much. If it does, there's 3 lock positions on the front pole to adjust tension with. I've had mine for about a year now and still have it on the lowest tension.
