For you guys with the DB, what are the advantages you see over a trifold? The sturdiness? Access to the cab side of the bed?

I chose the diamondback because of the fact you can't cut it with a knife, thick enough I can put stuff on top (like if I get a Kayak I can add a rack or just strap it to the cover (my SE is rated for 400lbs), I can walk on it or sit on it without worry, and mainly because it seals up better than the trifolds that my friends have. Plus my Buddy either has to block his rear window when it folds the last section near the bed where as I can remove the front panel. NO DRILLING like my other friend had to do. it installs directly to the factor rails. No having to move the rails etc. If I want the whole bed for me then I will just spend the 10 minutes taking it back off. Totally secure when you lock the tailgate. And I can use my tailgate still without having to open the cover if need be.

I went with the DB because of the sturdiness, the security, the ability to access the front and back portions of the bed and the ease of removing the panels.

Another big reason is because for me personally I like to buy made in America or made in Canada products whenever possible. That’s just a personal choice for me.

Cool, I hear you. I'm gonna stick with a tri fold, but I do really like the cleats on the DB. It would be really nice to be able to tie a hammock off of that.

im pretty set on a diamondback HD cover. Figure ill just treat it as a flat bed for anything that can be in the weather or to tall to fit under it and use the tie downs and everything else can ride under it out of the weather.

I got a Diamondback. I subscribed to Autoanything.com and got a 10% off promo code. I didn't get around to ordering one right away. A couple of weeks went by and they sent me a 15% off promo code.

I again waited a couple of weeks and sent me a 20% off code. I figured at this point I better order it while I can. So I did and got 20% a Diamondback! I love it, works great no leaks and very secure.

I have even carried some things on top. No issues.

Diamondback SE here as well. I dig the caps but I do like that I can lock everything up and not have any prying eyes seeing what's in the back. And also yeah, you can walk and stand on it, or tie things down on it, or throw things on top of it while you're doing other things like kayaks or paddleboards. It's a high quality product for sure. And it looks pretty awesome as well.
