I'm wanting to upgrade to a 285/70/17. This will be a daily driver with monthly trips to a off-road park with rocks and trails. I know I don't want a E Load tire in this truck (complete over kill with a rough ride). There aren't many choices for a C Load tire that I can find. Even a D Load I think is overkill for this truck as a daily driver.

I do have bilsteins with 887 coils and icon leaf pack so I got about a 2.5 inch level lift.

I need pics with these tires and suspension setup if anybody has done this.

Any input will be appreciated. If there is any other C Load (not P metric) tire you can recommend, I'm all ears.

    Ok go ...

I like my Duratracs, but haven't tried Trail Grapplers. I bought my Duratracs because it snows a lot in Michigan, and these tires have the snow-flake/mountain-peak rating. I can't comment on that tire size, but C load vs. D load I wouldn't stress about. Next time I am replacing these with KO2 E loads (also snow-flake rating) just to try something else. My Duratracs have been a pain to keep balanced, but I just get them balanced/rotated every 5000 miles like recommended. They are a bit noisier than the KO2's on my brother's F150, but I think the Duratrac is also a more aggressive tread pattern so it was expected. Dunno if this helps you at all, but I really wouldn't hesitate to buy a set of Duratracs if I was you, lots of people run them, and they are a good tire with great traction in a lot of conditions. I also wouldn't hesitate to try those Trail Grapplers myself if they had the snow-flake rating. Since this is my first off-road vehicle I don't have a lot of experience with all the tires, and I am the type of person who likes to try a bunch of stuff before settling into buying the same thing over and over. Pelfreybilt front aluminum bumper, full Pelfreybilt skid set, Pelfreybilt sliders, hondo garage phone vent mount, icon stage 3 lift, scs rays 10, 285-70-17 ridge grappler, c4 fab mid height bed rack (currently getting powder)
I know it wasn't an option on your list but these are 285-70-17. I've had BRkO2's, Cooper stt pro and now these. No experience with trail grappler. But I have to say that I have abused these. Trails, snow, rain and asphalt. Very quiet on road and > ko 2 off road. < Cooper off road. But much much quieter. My .02
Almost 7000 miles and very little signs of treadwear.

Is that a SL Load or E Load tire?

2 totally different tires, the trail grapplers are mud terrains, and loud af on the highway. The duratracs are more of an AT tire, with a quiet on road ride. Both are decent, I think the trails are overkill for what you want.

I was looking at the trails because it's a C Load tire. Most tires this size are E loads which I think is too hard for a daily driver. All I found for D Load is duratracs and Procomp (which I read aren't very good).

They come in a c or e load. These are E. wish they weren't, but my tire guy made a mistake and I didn't want to wait anymore.

I chose the duratrac, they have a good track record. They come in C-load and ended up getting them from discount the same price as the K02's and they have an 80$ rebate going on so win win. Now I gotta sell the stock tires and wheels to recoup some funds, hopefully won't be to hard to since they have less then 1k miles.

I'm a big fan of the duratracs, had them on my jeep and just put a set on my taco. These tires are fantastic in the snow, and don't need 10oz of weights to balance like my old bfgs.
