    Mostly stuff I built.
My 16 Tacoma has way more grunt than my 16 runner too.

I keep reading how much better the 4.0 was. Must have been something. This 3.5 has plenty of grunt above 1500rpm. I rarely shift much above 2500 rpm. Defintely by 3000, even when getting on the freeway! I think it also sounds very good, while others have said it sounded anemic.

Compared to my 2.7L Tacoma, my 3.5L is an E63AmG

Compared to my 3.5L, my 5.7L LX is a Veyron

If I win the lottery I will buy the 4.0 and see what the fuss is all about that rich kids talk about

We have 2015 Trail Premium T4R and I just picked up a '17 DCSB TRD Sport. The Taco is faster and smoother than my Trail.

I like having both. Family car for her and a little more of a utility vehicle for me.

Solve the MPG issues and keeps the ice caps intact. Very Cali friendly I'd suspect.

And deals with snow better than several Tacoma owners around here seem to.

Lots of parking lot queens here anyway, so ground clearance and all that shouldn't be an issue for that group. Now that I think of it, that might make a good replacement for the old Highlander. Hmmmmm. :D

The new broncos only come in automatic.

The tacoma would be the most reliable trouble free choice. Tacomas are great off road.

If you can afford a trd pro, all I have to say is .

Don't buy a jeep unless you want to constantly repair it.
