I have Fox Factory Series Coilovers and they were in the truck I bought, springs are both badly corroded and one has broke, I have no idea when or if these were ever rebuilt, most likely not. I don't want to buy these shocks new if they can't be rebuilt because of high cost, looking at other options if I decide to go new that are decent but not as spendy, also I live in coastal environment so low maintenance is a plus, although I'm probably going to use fluid film or other methods to help with that, I was thinking shock socks as well but that seems that could trap moisture in ,also wondering if I should replace/rebuild all 4 or keep the rears maybe? I'm pretty new to all this aftermarket stuff and it was already on my truck so just looking at best way forward, thanks in advance, I should also mention I mostly drive on highway with occasional mild offroading on mellow dirt roads, I have a rear 1 1/2" rear level kit

Those springs look a bit beat not sure how much of that rust spread, the actual shock internals should be ok assuming it's just outside shock surface wear. Just to give you an idea on rebuild price from what i've seen new springs are about $220+ pair then about $160+ per shock to rebuild so looking at $860+ to rebuild your set vs buying a new set at around $4k...

Had Camburg on my 1st Gen when I lived in AZ, then moved to Idaho, aftermarket coil overs do not do well with the salt brine here, the heims do not last long, nor do the seals, the aluminum housings get pitted. Have rebuilt them twice in AZ since they don’t corrode there. The last go around I put OME on it. The rubber bushings fair better, and don’t wheel that truck like I used to in AZ. Actually gave it to my wife to drive since I bought a 3rd Gen, which I am keeping stock since it is easier and cheaper to maintain. When the stock SR stuff fails, will probably just find OR Bilstein takeoffs for it.
