No problem bookmark this thread if you want since I'll be updating the first post for future runs. If this Red Canyon Jeep Trail run turns out as well as I hope, this will likely have a repeat as long as the railroad trestle is still there. Hoorah!

I am going to pick up my nephew in Temecula. Were you all going to stop in Temecula on the caravan? If not, I will just head to the museum.

Which route are you planning through Temecula? Run up the 15/215 North to the 10 or go through the mountains on the 74/371 to the 10?

Are you planning to go up via the I-8 East, through El Centro?

I was thinking the best route is through Temecula then splitting East. I may be wrong.

For us, this is the fastest ( Mira Mesa and north folks ). For those that are in El Cajon, it might be faster for them to head out to El Centro, then head up North on 111 along the back side of the Salton Sea. However folks want to get to the General Patton Museum is up to them, just keep the rest of us in the loop so we don't leave anyone behind.

According to Goggle Maps, if you’re coming to Temecula, you could come up the 15 into Temecula and take 79 (Temecula Parkway) to the 371/74 into Palm Desert and hop on the 10. A little more scenic and almost 20 miles shorter than going up the 215.

AY_ARONTRD, you want to meet ip
    Address? :yay:

    Or

We can meet in the parking lot next to Chevron off Temecula Parkway. 31669 Temecula Pkwy, Temecula, CA 92592

If that's what everyone wants to do, the real question is meet time? If you're leaving Escondido at 0830, I would say 0900 meet in Temecula would be good.

    Thoughts?:bananadance:
