I would like to attend, Is this a meet and greet or a Run? I think I would be more interested in a trail run.

Is there a good meeting spot near Tahyua? I haven't wheeled there before so I will rely on others that have more familiarity. How about a 8am roll-call on the 23rd meeting Location near Tahyua TBD.

Now that you mention it, I have been here before... once. I can do 10am if that works for everyone else. Do you guys have radios, I'm currently running a UHF/VHF Setup from Ruggid Radios.

how stock friendly is this route? I am barebone stock including tires right now in a 2018 TRD OR.

I'm considering driving up from Portland to meet all of you!

    Not much, yet.
On Veterans Day a group of us went up there. There were several stock trucks, including mine. We all made it but mud flaps and the stock step bars took a beating. Was fun as hell. I'd go but I'll be on a plane the 23rd

Side note, if you've got a DCLB, your undercarriage may scrap a bit. Nothing major though.:itllbuffout:

I was talking to the guys at MULE yesterday. They said they went to Bald Mountain last weekend and it was pretty bare. John (MULE) said it was near Thorpe so I'm assuming he's talking about this one. There used to be a fire lookout here, too. Said it was cool to be above the cloud cover.

Between Bald Mountain and Tahuya, I vote Bald Mountain. Two reasons - I'm assuming Tahuya to be busy and I've already done it. :) But I really don't care either way, though if we do decide to do Bald, I think I'll make a camping trip out of it. Food for thought.

I did it basically stock (just icons with 1.5" lift). There are some really tight spots for our 3rd gens though. I have weld-on sliders and they saved my ass from some trees a few times.

I think I'm going to load up with camping gear and if camping happens then so be it.

    Can't make it :/

I like the sound of Bald Mountain too though. If you plan on checking it out anytime soon let me know I'm always looking for new places.
